We have finally settled the setlist for the party gig, although not the order yet. It is "You can,t always get what you want" by the stones, "Mr Big" by Free," 25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago, "Tie your mother down" by Queen, "Still in love with you"and "Cold sweat" by Lizzy, "Cherry red" by the groundhogs, "If you want blood" by AC/DC, "Here I go again" by whitesnake, "Armed and Ready" by MSG, "Crossfire" by Steve Earle ( I think ), "Stone Free" by Hendrix, " Voyager" by Gamma, and Hush" by Purple.
Now I would never be so daft as to say they compare with the originals, but I feel we take the essence of each song, and put the Split feel to them. Some have a more funky feel than the original, and some are rocked up, with self indulgence, in some cases. We are keeping the set to about an hour, as we are probably not to everyones taste, Ha Ha, but it is my party
